What are drains?
Drains are a solution for evacuating water from surfaces exposed to intense water (rain, waste water, swimming pools, bathrooms...). They are often used outdoors, but they are also very necessary for indoors in cases such as industrial buildings, kitchens, patios and others where there is a risk of flooding by accident.
Types of drains
There are generally two types of drains:
Siphonic drains
Siphonic drains are ideal for indoor installation because their main function is to prevent unpleasant odours. Therefore, if a siphon has not yet been installed in such a space, this type of drain should be used.
Drains without siphons
Drains are used for outdoor areas such as terraces or gardens, because, as we have said, their function is to prevent bad smells coming from the pipes. Outdoors, these odours are normally not noticeable as they are in the open air.
Stainless steel drains
We manufacture our siphonic drains in stainless steel because it is a material that is resistant to rust and corrosion over time.
We have different pre-determined sizes in our stock, but we also manufacture made-to-measure to order, so that they can be adapted to any type of floor and need our customers may have.
It avoids bad smells and solves drainage problems effectively.
Outdoor drains
Outdoor drains are ideal for terraces, patios, gardens and garage roofs, among other places.
They are an essential part of water drainage systems and prevent dampness, accumulation and water damming.
In this way, you can be sure that heavy rain or sewage water will constantly flow away, preventing flooding and other disasters.
Custom-made drains
We manufacture our own drains so we design to customer specifications. So if we don't have the size you are looking for in stock, don't hesitate to contact our expert team for advice on our product and when it will be available.
